Wizard and PitBull

Technically Guided Options Selections and Masterful Option Strategies Combined

with David Elliott and Ron Ianieri

Welcome to a new learning experience. Welcome to a new investing experience. Welcome to an experience that just might make all the difference to your trading bottom line.

As our story begins, "It was a dark and stormy night . . ." in a small restaurant in Orlando, Florida. Enter the tall dark wizard with an uncanny ability to predict market turns, and the fellow from the dog-eats-dog aggression of the Options Pit whose success was legendary... David Elliott and Ron Ianieri were fated to meet. Both were in the business of educating investors on how to best navigate the murky and sometimes dangerous waters that are the financial markets. Both men had spent years developing strategies unequaled by others in their field. And both shared an axiom that has proved to be perfectly, flawlessly accurate... "First, find the opportunity, then apply the proper strategy."

The respect each developed for the other has led to a very successful working relationship. The combination was and is unarguably logical. Many others teach option theory and trading—although perhaps none as well as Ron. Many others teach technical analysis—although none can call those turns as well as David. But there is one thing no one else teaches: that all important thing which all options investors need to know: how to combine technical analysis with option theory. And The Wizard and the PitBull Pick Alert Service is designed to do just that . . .find the perfect opportunity, and then apply the proper strategy to that specific opportunity.

So we welcome you to The Wizard and the PitBull, the brainchild of our principals, David Elliott and Ron Ianieri. We welcome you to the educational experience of a lifetime - where you will gain all the knowledge you need to benefit from The Wizard and the PitBull motto:

"Find the opportunity, then apply the strategy."

SERVICE GUIDE

This guide is intended to illustrate the unique features of The Wizard and the PitBull Pick Alert Service, to explain how the Service works, and to define the expectations of the Service.

DELIVERY OF INFOMATION

Our method of delivery will be via email. Once The Wizard and the PitBull team has identified, evaluated, and approved a trade, a "Pick Alert" will be sent by email to each subscriber describing the candidate, what our strike price is, the expiration month, what our target entry and target exit are, and our risk management strategy. Subscriptions are not transferable, and by subscribing, all subscribers agree that they will never share The Wizard and the PitBull Pick Alert information with anyone else.

If delivery problems occur, The Wizard and the PitBull recommend that the subscriber insert The Wizard and the PitBull email address, WizardandPitBull@yahoo.com, into his/her email provider’s address book to avoid the possibility of emails being diverted into bulk mail folders. The Wizard and the PitBull and their support staff cannot be responsible for delivery problems with any email provider. The Wizard and the PitBull also recommend that subscribers who trade via both desktop computer at home and notebook computer while traveling use an email service that can be accessed from either, such as HotMail or Yahoo.

TIMING AND EXECUTION

The success of The Wizard and the PitBull is predicated on good timing and execution. As such, when a Pick Alert is delivered, prompt execution is often critical to the success of the overall trade. We can’t predict when trades will occur throughout a given day, as with, for example, a pending earnings announcement; so we highly recommend that subscribers check their email regularly during the trading day and be ready to evaluate trades for possible execution when they are delivered.

FREQUENCY OF SELECTIONS

The Wizard and the PitBull Pick Alert Service is focused on quality, not quantity. We strive to locate the highest probability Picks that can bring rewarding results. While it would be nice to have many winning trades every day, the reality is that the markets fluctuate, and there will be times when opportunities are scarce. We will never ‘chase’ a trade just to be active in the markets; instead, we will consistently look for the best possible Picks with the best probability for high returns in mind.

HIGH RISK/HIGH REWARD INVESTMENT RETURNS

As a subscriber of The Wizard and the PitBull extraordinary gain is nearly always offset by extraordinary risk. This is at least as true in options trading as it is in any other scenario. However, responsible trading, risk management, and reserving a major portion of one’s portfolio can help to protect against losses. We have found that, over time, utilizing a higher risk strategy for a smaller portion of a portfolio can enhance overall portfolio returns. Given the high level of risk—total loss, in the case of option trades—a higher payoff relative to the absolute holding period (days or weeks) is typical. So for example, it would not be unexpected to earn triple digit returns for one investment idea during a short holding period.

There will be times when our option has not reached the level of strike price, so we are buying time-premium ONLY; there is no intrinsic value for the option at time of purchase. It’s quite possible that our purchase may be contingent upon an ‘event,’ and that the ‘event’ may ultimately not be in our favor. Thus, the Option we purchased may go down heavily, or even to zero. Conversely, if we are correct in our assessment and timing, enormous gains could be realized.

HOLDING PERIODS

There is no ‘set’ rule to give each trade ‘time’ to reach an objective. We will generally set a ‘potential’ holding period for a trade, but will send notice of our imminent buy or sell in a separate Pick Alert. Be mindful that our holding periods could be set at or extend to hours, days or weeks.

RISK MANAGEMENT - RESPONSIBILITY

One word of caution, which should be emphasized: Options trading is a HIGH RISK STRATEGY; and should you choose to follow our The Wizard and the PitBull Pick Alerts with your own trades, only a small portion of your portfolio should be allocated to any trade. A good rule-of-thumb would be that no more than 5-10% of your overall portfolio be dedicated to a high-risk segment such as this. As with any option trade, there is potential for total loss.

The Wizard and the PitBull encourage sound money management strategies, planning, and discipline. WE DO NOT ENDORSE RECKLESS TRADING BEHAVIOR. It is your responsibility to manage your account to reflect your individual needs and objectives. Further, we are not responsible for delivering any specific commentary related to a trade; we do not offer, nor is anything we say to be construed as, ‘individual investment advice.’ We advocate checking your account frequently to make sure timely trades have been made. Please read our disclaimer at the end of this guide; also please click here, http://www.optionsclearing.com/publications/risks/riskstoc.pdf, and carefully read the online pamphlet, Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options, produced by the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.
